Please note that recently dropped characters that appear on this list have yet to be processed. If you intend on dropping any of the listed characters, please respond to either this post or comment on the Drop Post. You will not be penalized for idling out of the game.

ACTIVITY CHECK-IN: APRIL 2015

Welcome to the easiest Activity Check ever! Comment with your name and the names of the characters you're still interested in playing. You have until April 30th at 11:59pm PST to do this. Don't procrastinate or put it off, just toss on your info and enjoy an awesome day! New characters and players who are on hiatus for this month are not required to check in, but may do so if they wish.

Hey there, your friendly neighborhood mods! We just want to keep you guys in the loop on some updates that have happened recently that weren't so major that they required their own post, but are still important to let you guys in on, and one awesome big one!

☻ Navigation Strip on top of the communities has been fixed to be readable so the colors aren't linked with the layout! It's been tested on 4 different browsers, so it should work properly across the board now.

☻ A randomly scheduled tag check has been performed to ensure that current characters are active. PMs have been sent to the journals of any characters in question. Please double-check your inbox to make sure that you didn't get one. If you have not been tagging your posts, please make sure to do so to ensure you don't get caught in a future check! If you received a notification, you need to make sure that you reply to it by the end of February.

☻ Hiatuses will now be replied to with extension request/welcome back replies to ensure that all players receive a reminder when their hiatus is up!

☻ The rules for when activity check-ins and HMD memes will be held has been updated in the Rules. Activity Check-Ins will now occur during the months of January, April, and August 15th-September 15th. These dates have been chosen based on average holiday/school activity deadlines to make sure that everyone has an equal chance to get checked-in without worry about AC on top of the more stressful times of the year. The HMD memes will be posted the month before each check-in.

☻ Forms to add subarchways and new locations (non-character owned businesses) to the Settings page to make things easier and clearer.

☻ And last but certainly not least...

The profiles, links, and the how-to-start page should be updated with the information shortly.

• Speaking of tags, don't like the ← arrows → now accompanying them? There's a fix for this if you use Chrome or Firefox! noblerose has created a userscript that removes the arrows using Greasemonkey and Tampermonkey.


• Last, but certainly not least, don't forget about February's event! Cupid really needs his arrows back. ;)

Let's get the reminders out of the way and then we can talk about February funtime!

1. Today is the last day to check-in or be dropped! You have until 11:59pm EST tonight to do so. Check-In is closed!

2. Intermittent earthquakes will still be going until midnight tonight, with a huge one today. Any archways listed in the CPU post about it will close at that point. Event complete!

THAT SAID onto February's event: A Valentinesy Charm Quest! I hope you're looking forward to it! On February 1st, a new NPC by the name of Cupid will make a post!

Cupid attempts to restore his image back to its glory of anything but a baby poking people in the butt with arrows by popping up and publically setting up blind dates on a quest to make people happy... Unfortunately, he lost his arrows! Whoever brings back the most arrows gets a charm! (Up to three people depending on how many participants there are.) Just be careful, someone who touches the tip of the arrow will fall in love with the first person they meet... on accident or on purpose! The spell is broken if anyone tries to take physical/sexual advantage of the situation, but enjoying the company of whoever's under the spell for a few good cuddles or a nice date? Totally acceptable.

Overall it's a fun, fluffy event and if your character is looking for arrows, there will be a mod post to RNG how many they find each day. There will be a comment for each day, you can reply if your character is looking on that day to see how many they find. Whether there are accidental/purposeful arrow pokings... well, that's up to you! Have fun with it, get all the cutesy dates (or funny crack ones) and most importantly HAVE FUN! This event will last February 1st-February 14th.

Hi everyone! This is Tay (Weiss/Emerald/Salama-mun) and this is my first official mod post. First things first, I want to thank everyone for sticking with us through this transition and I hope that everything is to your satisfaction. I'm glad to be here and I see how much everyone loves this game so I just want to let you know, I'm going to do my best!

One update I've already made is that I've changed the forced-default layout to site skin to help out people who tag via mobile devices. I know I've heard about this making tagging like pulling teeth from a few of you, so that's taken care of now. If you do happen to like the default layout and would like to change it back, you can do so in your Account Settings under the "Display" tab. Simply find this area under there to change it back.

Now then, I'm going to be working on trying to clean up some of the pages and make sure everything is updated and clear, so the first thing I would like to do is have an Activity Check-In to make sure we have all the correct information on the taken list!
