All right, use one Poke Ball for Mudkip and one for Pineco, then we'll try and catch something.

Mudkip gains one level and grows to Level 12.
Pineco gains one level and grows to Level 11.

You encounter Phione! But none of your Pokemon are at a high enough level to catch it, so it flies away.

You encounter a Level 6 Hoothoot. POKEBALL GO!

Moves - Tackle (Normal), Growl, Foresight, Hypnosis

Mudkip gains two levels and grows to Level 14.
Pineco gains one level and grows to Level 12. It wants to learn Take Down, but it already knows four moves.

Delete Tackle and go for Take Down.
