Captain Hammer buffs up his Chikorita to level 10. The Ultra Ball will be used in an attempt to catch a Pokémon after that.

At level 6 it learns Razor Leaf (Grass). At level 9 it learns Poison Powder.

You encounter a level 49 Arbok. Your chance of escaping is 61% if you try to flee. Since you can't catch it, the attempt is...UNSUCCESSFUL. It beats up your Chikorita. Better luck tomorrow!

Cherise is going to try to catch as many Pokémon as she can. If something knocks out her Mudkip in the process, then she'll use the rest of her Pokeballs to buff it up.

You encounter a level 74 Bibarel. Chance of escape is 31%. The attempt is...UNSUCCESSFUL. The Mudkip is knocked out.

Leveling it up to 11. At level 6, it learns Mud Slap (Ground). At level 10, it learns Water Gun (Water).

Alternating between buff and catch. So use the Poke Ball to put the Mudkip at level 6, then try and catch something. If the catch is successful, I'll decide from there. If the Mudkip gets knocked out, just buff it up.

At level 6, the Mudkip learns Mud-Slap (Ground).

You encounter a Level 35 Slugma. Chance of escape is 70%. The attempt is...successful!

You encounter a Level 8 Pineco. If you buff up your Mudkip two more levels, you can catch it. Buff or flee?

Spending two Great Balls to level up, and however many it takes to catch the Pineco. THAT BASTARD IS MINE!

Mudkip gains two levels, and is now at Level 10. It learns Water Gun (Water). You receive the following Pokemon:

Lvl 8. Female Pineco - Relaxed Nature
Moves: Tackle (Normal), Protect, Self-Destruct (Normal)

Since you have room, the Pineco joins your party. You have 1 Great Ball remaining.

Using it to buff the Pineco to level 9.

Pineco is now Level 9 and learns Bug Bite (Bug).

Using all the Pokeballs to buff up Chimchar to level 11. Then Hippo will just go around trying to bully people into fights.

Chimchar is now Level 11. It learns Ember (Fire) at Level 7, and Taunt at Level 9.

Lust doesn't have time for Pokémon. She will, however, happily strike a deal to seek out certain Pokémon in exchange for charms.

Orihime wants to catch as many different Pokémon as possible, so she'll just head out and see if she can get one. If her Chespin gets knocked out, though, she'll buff him up with the Pokeballs she has left.

You encounter a Level 67 Venomoth. Chance of escape is 38%. The attempt is...UNSUCCESSFUL.

Chespin attains Level 11. It learns Rollout (Rock) at level 8. At Level 11, you can learn Bite (Dark). Would you like to drop one of its other skills to learn Bite?

Raye's avoiding this event. She's perfectly happy just to keep her cute fire chicken and call it quits.

Yang wants to catch two Pokemon first before she starts buffing. She'll use the Ultra Balls for catching first, then Great, then regular. If her Snivy gets knocked out before catching anything, spend the rest on buffs.

You encounter Raikou! But since none of your Pokemon are at a level sufficient to capture it, Raikou runs away.

You encounter Mewtwo! But your Pokemon are not at a level sufficient to capture it. Chance of escape is 65%. Escape attempt is...SUCCESSFUL!

You encounter Level 49 Sunkern. Chance of escape is at 58%. Escape attempt is...UNSUCCESSFUL! Snivy is knocked out! Buizel has a 53% chance of escape. Escape attempt is...UNSUCCESSFUL! Buizel is knocked out!

Cursed Sunkern. I'll dump all of my buffs into Snivy and put it up to Level 12.
