POKEMON EVENT: PART II

The Pokemon event has been going for a week now and it's time for the second post! You don't have your PokeBalls for this week yet, so when you reply to this post, it's going to be a little bit different. You can still RP with other characters, go on adventures, do whatever you want with your Pokemon throughout the month. For finding Pokemon-related items, catching Pokemon, and levelling, however, you're going to want to reply to this post:

1. Your Character's name.
2. A list of your character's Pokemon, their levels, and their current attacks at the end of the last post.
3. A list of any leftover Pokemon-related items your character currently has (carried over from the previous day).
4. Which archway your character is in and if they have anything in particular they are aiming to do that day.
5. Any off-post Pokemon captures or leveling. (Details about the rules for this here)

The comment should look roughly like this:

Items: Dusk Stone, Big Lapras, Sacred Ash. Anything above their level, she'll be switching her Pokemon out during the battle to evenly distribute experience. She'll be in Fayren, only catching if it's a flying type, and beating the crap out of everyone else! If all of her Pokemon are low on HP, head to the Pokemon Center. If they are all KO'd, use the Sacred Ash. Otherwise, keep going. :D

Off-post stuff: Leveling 5 each- Em's a fighter, she's enjoying this. 1 catch! A Level 6 Seviper. (+3 Levels since she caught it halfway through the week.)

Easy peasy. After you reply, a moderator will reply with the levels and new pokemon you mentioned now added to your party, plus your Pokeballs for the week and start the RNG cycle. It will look like this:

After the balls, your comment will list a series of events that were decided via RNG, up until the point that a moderator can't make decisions based on the information you've given us. (For example: If a Pokemon appears or there's an opportunity to use an item, special events that require interaction, etc.) Your character may find items, encounter Pokemon, random challenges from trainers, or more. The more details you give on how your character is going to react, the more quickly we can get through your turns and to everyone else. Remember that everyone gets 10 "actions" per week, plus up to 5 levels and up to 2 Pokemon that don't count for points outside of the post. Each reply to a moderator can be met with further action and when your character is done for the day, you will have the option to trade any leftover Pokeballs to exchange for Rare Candies or save them for the next day. Pokeballs CAN roll over! Have questions about the event? Read this post, then comment here if your question still isn't answered!

If you are not done with the first week's, please finish that before moving on to this post. Due to time constraints on the mods and our helpers, you may not start your character's Pokemon Journey on the first post. You may start on this post with only the +5 you're allowed for off-post leveling. Starters are still available if you are just coming in, but you will need to start your first reply on this post. If you have already replied to the previous post, you are welcome to continue on until you finish. Make sure to do this as the Level RNG range has now changed from 7 to 17 instead of 1-10, the only exceptions being if your character is RNG'd a rare chance of encountering an overleveled Pokemon.

Aaah, cute fire type alert! Fight to catch!!

Dairine will start with Aerodactyl for one turn, then move to Sneasel to weaken it before using a Great Ball. However, if Sneasel gets low HP before she can catch it, she'll bring in Eevee (avoiding Sand Attack since she doesn't want to KO the little guy.)

Dairine leaves Fayren, having succeeded in catching a fire type.

Since she still has two Pokemon in good health, she'll walk around Genessia City for a short while to see what she finds.

As Dairine is walking through Genessia City, she is passing an alleyway. And down the alleyway a noise can be heard. Investigate?

Absolutely! She'll go down the alley to see what's up.

Down the alleyway is an Eevee! It is cornered by two pokemon! A Sableye and a Houndour! The Eevee looks injured, like the Pokemon have been beating up on it. It's cowering back also try to put on a brave face!

Another Eevee! Dairine isn't about to let some bullies slide, even if they are Pokemon. Her own Eevee hops down in front of her, 100% agreeing. Eevee uses Sand Attack on the bullies!

"Hey! Knock it off!" Dairine yells at the Pokemon, hoping it helps scare them off or knocks some manners into them.

The two Pokemon are hit by the Sand Attack and they turn to face the intruder. They look like they might be considering if they should fight or go.

The injured Eevee took this chance to run from where it was cornered and over to the other Eevee to stand with it.

Dairine crosses her arms and gives them her best stern face. "Don't you know it's rude to fight someone two to one? Now scram, if you know what's good for you."

She won't initiate a fight, but if they attack, she'll have her Eevee use Tackle and Sand Attack. If it looks like her health is low, she'll bring out Bellsprout as back up.

The pokemon think twice about starting up a fight when the odds might not be in their favor, so they quickly skitter away. The injured Eevee stays on guard for a few moments after the Pokemon are out of fight before relaxing.

It then turns around and looks up appreciatively to its savior.

Once the other pokemon leave, Dairine kneels down to get a better look at the injured Eevee. She holds out a hand offering pets, but only if it is cool with getting touched. "Hey there. How are you holding up?"

Her starter is far less apprehensive about getting close, chittering concerns and licking the other Eevee's fur.

The injuried Eevee is fine, for the most part. It rubs against Darine's hand and- something strange starts happening. The injured Eevee glows and..

Lvl ? Female Sylveon (Fairy)

It looks like the appreciation and affection it felt for its saviors stirred a change in it!

Whoa! This is Dairine's first time seeing an evolution happen. She wasn't expecting it to be so... girly, but it's very cute! Her Eevee bounces around excitedly.

"Whoa, that was cool. You got a new look!" Dairine pets the Sylveon since she seemed to like it as an Eevee. The Pokemon seems to like her, so she decides to ask, "Say, would you like to come with me? You won't have to worry about being outnumbered again."

If Sylveon says yes, Dairine will hold out a Greatball for her.

Sylveon nods and taps her own head against the Greatball and flies inside!

Since that encounter went smoothly, she'll walk around Genessia a bit more to see if she can find another Pokemon or battle.

Dairine will give Bellsprout, Aerodactyl, and Sylveon one turn each before switching to Eevee for the rest of the fight (if needed). Once the Charmander is in low health, she'll toss a Greatball.

Bellsprout leveled up! Bellsprout is now level 11. Bellsprout learned Wrap (Normal). Sylveon leveled up. Sylveon is now level 3! Aerodactyl leveled up. Aerodactyl is now level 9. Aerodactyl learned Roar (Normal).

What will Dairine do next? (5 actions left.)

Sylveon must have gotten a lot of experience, leveling up so fast!

Dairine will take her team to the Pokemon Center to heal them up. Then she's going to head to Nova City and explore!

She'll bring along Eevee, Bellsprout, Sneasel, Aerodactyl, Sylveon, and Charmander.

With her Pokemon healed, she starts her adventure in Nova City and before she knows it..

Fight to catch! The order will be Sylveon, Charmander, Sneasel, and then Bellsprout with all but Bellsprout getting one turn.

When it is low, use Ultra Ball!

Hmm... On one hand, that Pokemon looks cool. But she only has one ball left, so she'll just fight to win!

She'll give Sylveon, Aerodactyl, Eevee, and Sneasel one turn each. Then she'll stick to Charmander using Ember. If he gets low, she'll switch back to Eevee.
