The Relocation of the Bay and Memory Stars Event
With the Bay cropping up in Nova City as of Tuesday, 3/31/2015. There are a few changes that characters will be able to see. Anything that was in the Bay is relocated to Nova City (that includes flyers, if your character set up spy cameras, whatever) but the Bay itself will change slightly to match its new sci-fi location.
★ The Bay will appear as an island in the center of the waterways in Nova City.
★ The appearance of the Bay will look like THIS for the duration of its relocation. Anywhere a character steps will leave a bioluminescent trail for a few seconds, similar to the one that appeared when the lights during the previous event reached the end of the barrier.
★ Pods will be located within the dome and characters will have to swim to get to shore. The water around the pods is still shallow, so they will not drown upon exiting, but it will be deep the farther out they go. If characters cannot swim, they will need to call for help.
★ There are robots located around the non-domed area on buoys that will excitedly shout to your character a few phrases (alternating each time your character talks to them):
★ The smaller dome and outer tube so to speak appear to be filled with a powerful electrical current. The small dome throbs as it glows and the electrical current can be seen in the space between them. If your character touches it, they'll wake up in Nova City Hospital.
So what's at the location of the old Bay in Genessia City?
WHY, IT'S A GOOD OL' FASHION MEMORY EVENT OF COURSE.
★ Shallow water, about 3 inches deep, with a hole at the center. The hole does not appear to have a bottom, and gets incredibly deep black almost immediately.
★ Beneath the surface of the shallow water, strange lights that look like stars from the night sky float around in the water. They will flee from your character if your character tries to catch one. If your character catches one, it will dissolve in their hands, making your characters palms look like they're holding a hundred tiny stars that burn for a moment, then fade. When they fade, your character will remember one or two of their most powerful memories-- be they good or bad-- incredibly vividly. It'll be like a hallucination of it happening again. If that isn't good (or bad?) enough...
★ Every one of the "stars" has a twin. Once your character picks up one and their memories are relived, the "twin" star also has these memories. Whatever character picks it up will be able to see the memory that your character saw, at your discretion. If it a castmate, it can even be an event they were involved in from their perspective if you want to play with that. However, the memory must be from the character's life outside of Genessia. Shared memories may also come with the attached emotions, though if you as the player want to prevent that from happening for whatever reason, you can just say that the character with the twin star can't feel any emotions at all from it.
★ If your character falls in, attempts to go spelunking in, or somehow ends up in the hole, they will be teleported to a random place in Nova City with some kind of sci-fi effect that will last for a day. This is up to you! They might end up being a cyborg for a day or come out looking like a green alien, maybe they've gotten themselves confused and think they're a time traveler, or they can actually use the Force for a day. Whatever sci-fi trope you want, you've got-- but only if your character ends up in the hole somehow.
★ If your character witnesses another character entering the black hole, it will look like the lights from the previous month turned into a whirlpool within the black hole for a moment, going faster and faster until it turns black again, some of the lights shooting up toward the barrier in the sky.
UPDATES FROM QUESTIONS OFF-POST:
★ If you want to have more than one character view the "twin," the stars will dissolve, but can reform and be picked up again once they return to the water. If you want to view more than one character's memories, please make sure that you get permission from each person before viewing them all. Each person can only view a single memory once though, so characters can't watch someone else's memories or their own on repeat.
★ The stars cannot be destroyed. They will dissolve and reform in the water. If you want to keep one, however, they can be kept in a cup or bowl if they are caught and kept in the water they're captured in. Remember, though, the memory can only be viewed by each person once.
THESE EVENTS WILL GO ON FROM 3/31/2015 UNTIL 4/12/2015. You are welcome to have your character get involved in any of those until then. The Bay will be relocated back to its location after that, and things will really get interesting... so look forward to more information then!

1. "WELCOME TO NOVA CITY!"The character must speak to the robots 5 times in order to get the warning about construction. If they do not, they will not be warned. Characters who are not new may still receive the warning if they go to investigate the new Bay, as the robots will talk to anyone.
2. "WE'VE HAD TO RELOCATE TO HELP YOU!"
3. "YOU'RE PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!"
4. "THEY'RE ALMOST THERE!"
5. "BE CAREFUL NOT TO GO NEAR THE BAY'S PREVIOUS LOCATION! IT'S DANGEROUS DURING CONSTRUCTION!"

This is only if you're ok with Roman being a giant unsympathetic dick about it though, because that's 80% likely. The remaining 20% isn't sympathy either, just curiosity.

And of course I am.
