PLAYER PLOT: Boogeymen, Nightmares, Monsters, Oh my!

For the past few weeks, there have been odd rumors circulating through the cities. Rumors of monsters, the likes of which are so terrifying that the stories remain hushed whispers. And now, starting on MARCH 11THand lasting until MARCH 17TH, those monsters are a reality. Only in Everglade and Fayren, thankfully. Horrifying monsters will be prowling these cities during that time, and they seem to target pendent bearers exclusively... Scarier yet, they reflect the personal nightmares of the people that they're stalking!
HOW?Memo's power allows her to turn people's imaginations and memories into reality. While she wanted to create one giant boogeyman based on one rumor, she has accidentally created multiple boogeymen. They gain shape and power from the nightmares of pendent bearers: Some might look like the monsters in the rumors, but others may be personalized by personal fears. Players are free to play their monsters as NPCs, so feel free to use them to add some spice to your characters' life.
LIMITATIONS:- Boogeymen will only appear in Fayren and Everglade.
- They cannot kill or permanently maim anyone. Please don't go overboard with injuries!
- Memo's influence cannot be sensed. The monsters are made of psychic energy from their targets, and cannot be traced to Memo.
- The Boogeymen are technically illusions. They cannot exist without nightmares to feed off of, and will disappear if a character conquers their fears.
- They should be legitimately terrifying! While the details are flexible depending on the mun and character, they should be scary and dangerous!
- They cannot be captured, and have no individual intelligence.
- They can be defeated, and are fairly plentiful. Strength varies, so tailor them to suit the needs of your threads!
THE SHORT AND SWEET:
- WHEN: March 11th to March 17th-- Those are both Mondays! M for MONSTERRRRrr.
- WHERE: Fayren & Everglade
- WHAT: Nightmare monsters attacking pendent bearers.
- Before the event proper, Memo will have an IC Anon post for spreading rumors. Please feel free to use it to get spooky monster ideas in your character's heads and stuff!
- Starting March 11th, feel free to include NPC monsters in your characters' posts. They stalk, the hunt, they spook!
- There will be an event log too! If you don't feel like making your own post, please consider making a top-level.
- Traumatize your muses, save each other's muses, and have fun!

2. Do they exhibit any preference or priority in who they attack?

So lets say someone could cast a spell that surpressed a person from becoming afraid or under the terrifying power of these nightmares? Would the monsters created by the illusions still remain or would they vanish without the person's fear no longer there?
Secondly, if a person's fear was a monster would said monster still have the same vulnerabilities that the victim remembers? IE Im afraid of this monster but I remember it is weak to fire. Would fire still affect it?

Ted
Koishi
Powers: Flight, Invisibility, control over subconscious, magic laser spam, being creepy in general, biting
and
Namur
Powers: Punching, KO'ing people who fail their will saves, also biting
Maybe Sans?
Powers: giving bad times, not biting
Why? They all play on his fear of hurting others. Koishi and Namur have lost control before, and (he thinks) all have been hurt due to his own weakness. Since he can't neutralize the threat they pose without "killing" them, the only way to overcome is to harden his heart, cast aside his gentle nature, and...*gulp*...you know...
Plotting!
I'm down for all *kinds*!
-Healers to patch him up since his hesitancy will earn him a thorough beating
-People to assist/get hurt by them to either strengthen his resolve, and/or make things worse. Again, he's afraid that his own weakness will be others' doom, so the more people that interfere, the stronger his fear gets, and the stronger they become. That's right: level scaling
-Cheerleaders, aka people who will talk sense and try to either change or reaffirm his ideals one way or the other.
Probably gonna say no to anyone that would bust them, just because this is something he probably needs to do himself.
That's my rough draft ideas; if you've got some that go wildly away from this, that's cool! I'm open to plot errything gurl.
AS FOR TED AND /YOUR/ MONSTERS
Ted, when he's not being a baby, is a very formidable and resourceful fighter. He can protecc and attacc. And hey, if your character needs morale support or something spiritual, he's got you covered there too. He's got a terminal case of chivalry so he'll help out pretty much anyone, no matter how much pain it puts him in. He's just that kinda guy.

Vaggie
What are they?
The Exterminators are angels or divine representatives that descent upon Hell once a year for an annual extermination as a stop-gate to prevent Hell's overpopulation.
What do they do?
To achieve their goal, the exterminators are ruthless, efficient, and incredibly overpowered. They are FAST. Can fly. And are equipped with weapons that can permanently kill a demon -- think "erasure," the final death. They are proficiently ruthless that despite having a year to prepare they are still capable of decimating an entire section of Pentagram City, the largest metropolis of Hell.
Would they attack non-demons/sinners?
Honestly, probably not. But without that knowledge (and the fact that they don't seem to speak during the cull), they could very easily play the part of divine bogeymen, chasing after and terrifying anyone that comes to their path.
Plotting
Vaggie will no doubt be both incredibly terrified and getting the hell away. She knows better than to try to fight one of these head-on, and would instead try to find places that she can break cover and hide. This would be an excellent chance for her to show concern for you to run away from these things or to have her be saved by someone. She would only ever fight when she literally has no other option so that she'd go down swinging or to help someone -- she was brought back from dead, so her actual sense of self-preservation is abysmally low. She's also not a bad fighter, but these are creatures that give pretty much anybody not high on the chain of command cause for pause.
Also, if you want to have Vaggie stumble across yours, she's not a bad ally to have. The girl is fearless in pretty much any situation where she believes fighting is inevitable.

Ansem
Her nightmare will resemble the Headhunter from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow... with Tsukuyomi's flavor of attacking (so primarily, using two swords, incredible agility, and having a lot of messed up taunting and sadism) It will wear the heads of her closest CR that are no longer around anymore (namely: Setsuna, Ayame, Eva, Yukiko and Mariko), and anyone who's attacked by it will find their wounds are difficult to heal with magic (as long as its around).
The kicker is that it will prefer to terrorize Konoka when she feels alone, and will flee just out of sight if anyone hangs around Konoka long enough. So despite its menacing fighting capabilities I'm playing this more for the psychological factor. She might even believe that it's just a personally made hallucination.
I'm largely aiming for someone to help her gain the resolve to eventually take the monster down mainly on her lonesome (or with her Pokemon, given that she has two Dark Types and there's mention of anti-psychic tricks being effective), though someone setting it up for her to finish it off can help!
Alma, on the other hand, doesn't have any specialized fears. Instead she'll help other people fight monsters, though it will be on the caveat that they don't flee. Alma's more realized fear is other people succumbing to theirs, so she is pretty much a +1 to anyone fighting and a -1 to anyone who isn't.

Morgan's Crew
Violet: Count Olaf will be making a roaring comeback, will be using the Jim Carrey version for ease of video finding.
Tulip: Saint of Killers or The Grail
Thea: Ra's Al Ghul or Deathstroke
Kristen: Manaix most likely, see 'Knock,Knock" in S2.
But all are up for plotting and other monster ideas! Tulip, Thea and Luna have fighting skills. Gwen's an ex cop, Violet is an inventor and Kristen can throw a mean shoe.

Because he is a drama queen.
Getting an explanation that makes sense out of him could be a challenge, but there actually is a reason for this.
He's a drama queen.
Tori's Crew!
Dove will be stalked by
her pasta pack of hellhounds, her ex in a twisted demon form, and her grandfatherwhom she's sure is HIGHLY disappointed in her even to this dayand maybe even her pet Phoenix gone feral. She's already mentally weakened by February's toll on her, so this should be fun. She's also the most easily spooked out of my three.Theodora
Theo's gonna be stalked by cultists and her own dragon form :) Yaaaaaaay!
Kier
Kieran's not as established as I'd like him to be and his fears aren't as tangible, so I'm open to sending big brother rescue Kier to anyone who might want him/want to meet him.
Ceej
Other fears will probably be his friend Theron turned against him or mind controlled and trying to shoot him full of arrows. 'Cause Theron is a monster with a bow.
As for the event, Elden has some protective magic and spells, one of them specifically able to remove fear which would dispel the illusion for a little bit. So if people want that to happen lemme know.
Kit
Only through the blessings of the divines could Anastasia stand a chance, but with those blessings now rescinded, she only has her mortal shell and native magics to protect herself.
Myrrh: Centuries ago, the hero Grado and his companions, along with the Great Dragon Morva combated the Demon King Formortiis and sealed him away in five Sacred Stones. Though escaped and defeated again, one stone remains that holds the last piece of his fearsome power.
Without Ephraim and Eirika and their allies with sacred weapons, can Myrrh alone stand a chance against the Demon King should he somehow escape again?
