Mother Brain's "The Ghost of the Musical"

Plot: Offended that the director did NOT offer Mother Brain the role of Christine, Mother Brain decided to build her own hastily-constructed ramshackle theater to put on her own play! And get ALL the ticket sales! And brainwash the audience into establishing her as the supreme ruler of Nova City! Spoilers: The theater burns down and her plans are ruined.

This is your chance to audition for Phantom of the Opera Ghost of the Musical and shine on stage. Mother Brain wrote up a script (summary) of the performance, but players are strongly encouraged to deviate and make everything terrible. Maybe your character is mad about having a bit part so they try to ad lib and expand, using every opportunity to tell their character's backstory. Or, your character could try desperately to take this seriously and try to wrangle everyone back on script only to grow increasingly frustrated when this doesn't happen. On-stage rivalries and stupidity is not only encouraged, but required.

Cast of Characters (According to Mother Brain):

Christa (Ai Mikaze) - The simpering weak little soprano that no one likes and she can't sing well at all.
Carlotta (Mother Brain) - The REAL star of the show destined for glory and greatness. Mother Brain has claimed this role, but no one said there can't be TWO Carlottas.
Roland (Kaoru Hitachiin) - Used to be in love with Christine, but now only has eyes for Carlotta.
Ghost of the Opera (Graverobber) - The mysterious man who taught Christine because he felt sorry for her, but now he too worships Carlotta.
Pugface (OPEN!) - The tenor who has failed Mothe-- I MEAN CARLOTTA's expectations one too many times.
Meggie (Junko Enoshima) - Kind of a suck up. No one likes her either.
Owner #1 (Arro Caine) & Owner #2 (Azure): No one remembers their names, so they don't get any! (You can come up with your own.) They live to serve Carlotta and try to keep the musical running at all costs.
Madame Giry (Gale Reinhardt) - The fabulous leader of the pole dancing troop.
Peon #1 (Baldur) and Peon #230 (Insector Haga) - Just some useless extras, don't pay any attention to them.
AND MORE! - Just because a character isn't listed doesn't mean you can't audition for them. Make up your own if you like, ranging from Peon #48 to the King of France that Carlotta intends to dethrone.

You have 24 hours if you want to be considered for one of the main roles, at which point I'll choose the roles based on RNG and what each character has listed for their preferences. You can still sign up for a part after that, but priority will be given to those who jump in early so we can get the ball rolling. Feel free to use this post for plotting purposes as well. Even if your character won't be participating in the performance, there will be plenty of audience involvement, don't you worry your sweet cheeks about that!

The audition post will go up after that, and two weeks later, the performance will be held. "Gee, that doesn't leave much time to rehearse," you might be thinking. And you're right! That's because this play is going to suck! Have fun trying to learn your lines, ah ha ha ha ha!

Just putting this here now, Junko will find a way to swell the peon ranks with Monokumas. Who may or may not try to upstage the actual actors but also feel free to have them used and abused because these ones don't explode.

(Not that Junko would ever set out to make Monokuma seem like nothing more than harmless fun only to ruin the image forever down the line...)
