Overdue Intro!

So you have a giant menacing brain creature in your lives now. And that's just how it is.

faetan brought in a villain to stir up some fun and conflict! I'm aware the canon (Captain N: The Gamemaster) might be well before your time for most of you, but it's a delightful little show, and one of my favorite things when I was young. Mother Brain from the cartoon is a lot more campy than the one in the actual video game, but far easier to interact with as she's constantly coming up with plots and schemes to conquer Videoland, and now she means to conquer Genessia! Hooray!

You can find a basic Permissions and Plotting Post here. I'll pretty it up with HTML and pictures for easy reference later, but feel free to sign up if you want me to start cooking up a plot for you and your characters to play with. It lists the typical plans you can expect, as well as the things that likely won't fly.

I'm handwaving her intro, so you can just assume that some people saw a giant brain in a tank roll through the streets toward Nova City one day, where she eventually disappeared through an archway to a replica of Videoland. She's currently causing a scene at the Phantom of the Opera auditions if you want to interact with her before she makes her official grand debut.

OK, so, ever since I saw you post on the taken character list post thing, I've been wanting Mother Brain and Zero to interact, and get into villainy together. Right now Zero is recharging because his latest encounter with Kirby made him mega weak, but once he's back on his feet he'll want to cause trouble, and I think he's super cold, distant and serious nature would be a nice clash to MB's more... "outgoing" one XD

I hope we can get to cook something up in the future!

Oh, that would be PERFECT! Especially since they're both video game villains it totally suits their characters! I'm cooking up a petty plot for her right now that's doomed to fail (putting on their own version of Phantom of the Opera while also trying to brainwash the audience into accepting her as their supreme leader) if you want to get in on things early. I'm also open to having her dispatch Zero on missions too if there are plots you want him to fire up.

Did you prefer them to work as boss/minion, or allies?

OK, so sorry for taking forever to answer to this plot thing.

I think Zero would definitely be more of the ally type, because he doesn't exactly enjoy being ordered around, so if Mother Brain were to try and do that he would just go "lol bye" and cut ties with her. Although i think he'll find her antics very... silly and over the top, and that would likely be enough to make him question ever allying himself to her aghfgaghf

No no! I definitely want them to interact and work together! I actually want to give Zero headaches XD and what I mentioned about him watching the theater play thing go up in flames (literally) and be like "Gosh..." still stands, and that's probably when he'll approach Mother Brain like "I see you are trying to take over the land. Would you like help with that?"

Okay, that's good! She's allies with Dr. Wily and Dracula in canon so she doesn't rage at them when the good guys foil her plans, but she also wouldn't stay allies with someone who backtalked her or gave her sass because she couldn't really trust them. As long as that's not an issue, this should be fun!
