A Stroke of Bad Luck

Hello Genessians, Lisa here with a tiny 5-day plot that is starting the 9th of July till the 13th.

The reason I am posting this two weeks in advance is that this will require sign ups, which I will explain in a moment.

First things first, the basic plot idea is as follows:

Baldur is a demon of bad luck, it helps him if people get bad luck now and again and he just enjoys fucking people over in the worse way possible and he is also very, very bored currently. So he's decided to make select mirrors in the city talk to you.

However, the mirrors aren't going to be nice. Don't you like the way your hair is that day? The mirror thinks it's the ugliest thing in the world and to just shave that whole thing off. Basically, any insecurities your character has the mirror will be dishing it out.

But why you might ask? Well, Baldur wants you to smash them. Remember the saying if you break a mirror it's seven years bad luck? It won't be seven years but it will still cause bad luck. How long will be of course up to you, however probably don't make it longer than a week unless you want to be really mean or something.

Now sign-ups. This is a way to agree that whoever you sign up will break the mirror to keep Baldur in character for the most part since sadly, he wouldn't just target a character if they aren't going to actually break the thing.

If you want to sign up but do not want the bad luck portion to happen for more than a day, there is potentially a quick way to get rid of it at least.
