Fayren Wonderland Event: To Catch a Thief
Hi everyone! First of all let me apologize that this is a day late. I got swamped at work yesterday and had no time to sit down, let alone post, then passed out when I got home. BUT HERE WE GO.

Here's how it goes:
For the first day, you may pick two squares because I'm a day late. The squares are formatted with a letter and number, so please include both, and reply with your choices in response to this post. Tomorrow morning, the spreadsheet will be updated with guessed spots but for today, make sure you check other peoples' replies so you don't guess the same one twice.
For tomorrow and Sunday, you must return each day to try to guess. This is a total of four per player. There are a lot of squares, so it's entirely possible that the thief will get away, but keep in mind- if she does, she'll be back in future events, and the chances of catching her will increase!
Additionally, there are certain spots that have special items your character may win in game, so you might not catch the thief, but your character may find something else along the way.
Note: Taymod is the only one with the answer key, even Dave and Lisa don't have it. The key will be revealed at the end of the event and is in a google spreadsheet, already made. There are six treasures, two special events, and just one thief.
Good luck!
EDIT/IMPORTANT TIME-SENSITIVE NOTE: Comments open until 10am PST 9/16. Day 3 will be posted shortly after and for this to work it has to be consecutive so late entries will not be accepted.

One of your characters uncovered a magical artifact: Sapphire Pendant
Sapphire is a stone associated with wisdom and uncovering truths. During September, the Sapphire Pendant's enchantment activates and the stone will glow dimly any time someone nearby lies. It does not come with instructions, so your character may take some time to figure it out. It is also a double-edged sword and has been known to make its wearers paranoid as it is not a directable enchantment- anyone within a 20 foot range will activate it, so it can be difficult to use in public. It does not work over the network.
Which of your characters will be finding the sapphire pendant?

M9 is a treasure square. Your character found a lost Emerald Faberge Egg.
Much like the Imperial Eggs modeled by House of Fabergé, this egg is a carefully crafted work of art. The primary color is emerald, and has an almost translucent appearance. A gold lace pattern covers the emerald, and the egg splits in the middle. When your character finds it, they also find an ancient note. Much of the note is smeared or degraded, but the words "cursed in ancient times to punish Fayren's former royal family for killing the favored dragon daughter of the tribe of" and "Sealed within, the curse is hidden and prevented from passing into this world" are still legible in the full-page note.
If your character chooses to open it anyway, they will find a ring composed entirely of emerald. The emerald will absorb the life force of whoever is in possession of it. While it may just make them feel a little tired- if this is the curse, it's really not that bad. Eventually it will gather enough power to unleash its true curse, however. The emerald ring's curse puts an entire town under a sleeping beauty-esque sleep except for the wearer. After the curse is activated, the emerald will be filled with a blood-red color. While it can be returned to the egg to prevent further damage, anyone who fell asleep needs to be kissed by a loved one to wake up (can be familial, romantic, close friend, etc.- as long as it is love of some kind). The ring is enchanted with a spell of unbreakability and cannot be broken or un-cursed as the ancient magic used to enchant it is more powerful than anything in Fayren.
If your character does choose to ignore the warning and activates the emerald's curse, please let a moderator know so that an event can be coordinated based on time and which archway you want your character to be in when it activates. If they heed the warning and don't activate it, the egg is worth quite a lot of money and is enchanted to counter any curses contained within it and can keep any cursed items from unleashing upon the world, and is not limited to just the emerald if your character has other curses they would like to deal with. Otherwise, it's also just very pretty.
