Hello Genessia. I'm Athena and I'll be bringing in Queen Mab from The Dresden Files. I'm brand new to the game. I want to make sure I work everything out with the current TDF cast before I dump her into the mix (so PM me Murph if you want me to step lightly about anything or whatnot) but then I'll be in and posting. I work swing shift so my posts are generally in the mornings and evenings.

Mab is sidhe (pronounced: Shee) and she rules the Winter Court so she's kind of the evil side of the coin if a force of nature can be evil. It ain't Candy Land.

Murph isn't one for soft stepping most of the time until she figures out that it's the best course. And she's feeling a bit protective of Harry. She's coming from about 2 and a half months after the end of Changes so she hasn't completely gone dark and is still holding out some hope. And of course, now she's here.

I understand the desire to smite her, it's ok. She evokes that a lot.

Mab and I would both fully expect Murphy to stomp all over things with steel toed boots (just don't get them near her physical body and she'll try not to make you into a Murphsicle). Mab is current to the first chapter of Skin Games (yay for previews XD) so she can still seem a little omnicient yay. She's not going to give up that kind of card.

I will try not to spoil anything in that case. It always takes me a few days to read the book when it comes out too so I feel like I'm behind everyone else freaking out about things and sometimes have to do internet silence until I finish XD

I think Mab could actually like Murphy's spunk eventually. If it wasn't being all directed at her. Haha we'll see what happens.

How weird would that be if they got along to a degree? I can see Harry jaw dropping if Mab makes a casual comment about needing a court and Winter Lady if she is going to be stuck there.

I'm sure it would make Dresden's skin crawl. Which would me it all worthwhile. Mm and she knows about Murphy's potential to be a Knight of the Cross she would be all over getting that kind of power on her team. Good God, Mab would love that.

Now that I can get back to this, oh yes please! This would make excellent plot fodder for us and I think the idea of it is kinda exciting given when Mab comes from vs when Harry and Karrin do.

She gets two fold out of it given the end of Cold days.
