Well, it's figured quite prominently in his career as the count's successor, for starters. And he's destroyed it twice now; he figures third time might actually be the charm, in this case. (Of course, once he gets there and finds out Dracula has new friends that make them both look like children play-fighting, things may become more interesting.)
