THIS is AMALU or rather that is one of their favored names. Technically they have no name and have a love of collecting the various nicknames other people see fit to give them.
Amalu is a prehistoric creature from when earth was in its Hadean age, and has changed and grown with time to take on the appearance of a Taureg male. They don't really have a gender, they just sort of accept whatever they are called, male or female, since they don't really fully understand the difference between human genders all that well.
They are usually mute, if you happen to be a daylight being like humans, but if you're a vampire, darkness/night aligned creature, ghost ect, you'll find them to be exceedingly chatty, and that their voice is abnormally soothing, calming and pleasant to listen to.
They're also a big ol' sneaky thing, but that won't show up later, and for the most part they mean very well and get along well with everyone.
