Hi, I'm Chicklet, and I couldn't resist bringing Nokoru along once Conan opened his detective agency. After all, Nokoru started his own detective agency in his canon. Mostly he did it to help ladies, and to get out of his student council work.

There is a post in his journal about all the oddities that are inherent in Nokoru being Nokoru. But basically, he wants to make women smile and have fun. He really really loves having fun.

So, yeah, that's Nokoru, warm and caring and sweet and more than a little odd...

Such a worthy icon! I really do wish they showed Nokoru and Suoh's reaction to Akira's moms...

I've already started rereading the manga just for kicks and adorbs, but any possible muse expansion will have to wait until after the summer chaos. Imagine an introverted hermit working retail and hosting three people every summer? ;.; And then this past week had a family reunion and two birthday outings on the same weekend. FML.

Though... I could actually see Nokoru and Chopper hitting it off or becoming adorable mortal foes. I'm not sure how much you know about Once Piece... Both have some [in Chopper's case, a species-involved lingering] fear of allowing any random person in too close, both are too intelligent for their age, both have found close friends they can actually be themselves with. But it's really up to you!

TLDR: I'm willing to consider Akira in a few weeks, as well as bringing one of my girls. Saaaa...

I need to watch more of the anime, I went off the manga. So I don't know/recall if they've ever met each other's parents....

I am canon-blind on One Piece, save for meeting some characters via LARP, but it sounds like they could get along.

And I'm happy to wait a few weeks for a possible Akira, especially since Conan may wind up fairly Suoh-ish.... >.>
