Hello there! I'm brand new to Genessia, and excited to try a game out after being away from RP for so long.

I'm Emeryl, and I'll be playing this little/big guy here, Bracken. He'll be using RPG logic and getting used to the basics of how the real world works. Since he'll have a hard time differentiating video games and reality, I find it most amusing that he will call the game NPCs exactly that. But he'll want to be friends with everyone and try his best!

Oh man, the Escaflowne VHSes are some of the only VHSes I have left. I don't even have anything to play them on... But the box art is so nice.

Well, the interesting news is that later this year Funimation's going to be releasing a redub of it with HD animation. I have a DVD set of the old ocean dub and really need to canon review but I'm interested in seeing how the redub is.

Oh, that would be interesting. I hope they do a good job, though I was always happy enough with the subtitles.

I actually showed it to some kids I was babysitting way back before it had a dub, and when we were about halfway through the series is when they started airing it on TV. I only partially saw it - I'd already seen the show, after all. I do faintly remember wondering something like, "Is everyone going to pronounce Dilandau's name a different way?".
I guess I'd be a little confused if I was handed a script and saw that name, too.

So long as it isn't during the night it's okay (There is a rule stating that humans have no rights during the night thanks to Dracula, so creatures are free to attack and such and Fai technically cannot arrest any creatures who do attack him.)
