How's My Driving?

It's the end of the month, and that means it's time for ol' HMDsky to make an appearance. These will always be optional, and never anonymous. Concrit is easier to accept when it comes from somebody you know, in my humble itty bitty opinion. On that note, be kind. Suggest ways a person can improve instead of just pointing out what he or she is doing wrong, and mention what you like as well as what you don't. If you have nothing to offer but shameless praise, I doubt anyone will object.

To participate, list your name in the subject line, and the characters you'd like to receive comments/praise/concrit for. I realize the game's only been in full swing for about a week, so there might not be much to say. And that's fine! But if there's something you do want to mention, this is the place.

Characters

Captain Hammer (yesterdays_hero): Hammer can be hit-or-miss for me sometimes. It's hard to balance 'hero who fights evil' with 'also kind of a dick'. Let me know how he's doing so far.

Cherise Thompson (broken_trifecta): I know it's hard to concrit an OC, but I'm still open to suggestions! This includes details in her profile. I may have her do some dreamdock stuff to display a little more of her world and how she relates to it, if that helps.

James T. Kirk (mouth_breather): Concrit is also very welcome for Kirk. This is the first time I've played him in an actual game, and to be honest male characters are a little tricky for me sometimes. Still, he's a lot of fun for me, so let me know if I'm doing it right/wrong.

Orihime Inoue (leekspins): I'm really familiar with this muse, so I worry sometimes that maybe she's strayed too far from canon into headcanon, even if she does carry CR from a previous game. Concrit is welcome for her too!

Raye Hino (flamescout): Now's your chance to BLAST RAYE RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES I mean to nicely concrit on how I'm doing with her.

Yang Xiao Long (solar_flare): Yang is brand spankin' new. I've never played her before, and just kinda decided to pick her up because Nick mentioned wanting to find one and I thought "oh hey I like Yang I'll try it if you find me icons". And then he did. So yeah, because she's so new, I don't exactly have an ego to bruise with her if you can think of any improvements. Nitpicks are fine too!


On that note, I'm seriously fine with concrit if you have it. You guys all seem super nice, and I respect your opinions. READYAIMFIRE!

Ruby Rose

I've been playing Ruby for a couple months now and I like to think I have a good hold on her voice. It can be a touch difficult to balance all the bits of her character at times.

How do you like my typing and stuff? I know personally I need to take more time when it comes to writing tags (even more when typing on my phone) because I can be pretty typo happy when I'm just trying to bang out tags. (Or just completely forget to put a word in somewhere.)

I have no concrit to give! I just think you play Ruby fantastically, and you've really got her character down pat. I love that you're not afraid to make her say the occasional dumb remark, while still keeping her sweet and likeable. As a player, I love how you tag without hesitation. Your roleplaying is very positive and encouraging, and makes me want to turn this game into something awesome.
