In a world ravaged by war, an artifact appeared that would grant a wish to any maiden of pure heart. However, if her heart is not pure, the artifact, called the Skull Heart, will corrupt her mind, body and soul, transforming her into a hideous "Skullgirl."

Marie Korbel is who I bring to the stage today. A young girl of about 12 to 14 years of age, orphaned by the war and brought into slavery with her best friend, Patricia Watson. Marie escaped slavery with Patricia's help, but Patricia was horribly mutilated for doing so.

Marie found the Skull Heart and wished revenge on the slavers and their sponsors, the Medici Mafia for what they did to her and Patricia. For her hardship, she was transformed into the next Skullgirl, but her will to exact revenge kept her in control of the Skull Heart.

Marie's goals are clear and single-minded; to kill any and all with single drop of Medici blood, any of their allies, anyone who tries to get in her way and anyone who is trying to take the Skull Heart from her. Despite fighting a constant battle to keep the Skull Heart's hatred under control, she can be quite cordial as far as Big Bad's go and will even use the Skull Heart's power to protect anyone being used as a human shield by the Medici.

Otherwise... She will wipe all horrors from this world. Starting with you...

Edit: Oh, and by the way, I also play my OC, Anastasia Leonheart innocent_royal. As well as Alice Margatroid superficially_busy from Touhou and Junpei Iori sup_dude from Persona 3.
