So I was crazy and did a thing

And that thing was bringing in this boy, Ken Ichijouji from Digimon Adventure 02.

He's gone through some things, did a stint as that evil overlord known as the Digimon Kaiser, but he's better now. He even stopped kicking puppies, I promise. Now he just goes around, kicking butt with Daisuke and pretty much has one of the best woobie partners in the series. His canon point is right after they send Demon through the Dark Gate, so he's sort-of-only-not-really gotten over his truckload of guilt.

Ken looks forward to making friends (though you might have to work with him, he's still a bit reserved) and playing soccer. With everyone. Because what's Digimon Adventure without a soccer nut or three?

(I should almost mention that this is Robin, player of that magician dork known as Kaito Kuroba. Because one character is never enough for me.)

And then Ken will feel so bad that she gets to know him now before his whip days and then she will experience that. He's going to feel so bad about all of it ~~again.~~

I still think it's funny you bring him just when I was considering the whole canon updating her. It's made me push it back though (Though to probably add more confusion since she will be 10 on a headcanon birthday next year I've started taken to adding her 02 look icons xD)

But yes, getting to know him until then will be fun and awkward and interesting really

I blame Tri. It brought back all the nostalgia feelings and the fact that my brother couldn't stop Face Timing me about it all day Friday.
