+1 Slightly strange space pilot

Hi, everyone! This is Heather again! This time, I decided to bring with me not an action hero or a Final Fantasy character, but an astronaut! That's right! This is Rick Martinez...or I should say Major Rick Martinez from the Martian novel by Andy Weir! If you've never read it, it's really a fantastic read even if you're not that into science!

Anyway, Rick is...a special snowflake. He makes jokes in dire situations about people eating him first because they said they like Mexican food...I mean really, a special guy.

He's also an amazing pilot and a damned good friend! I'll be introing him soon. As always, I can be contacted through PM to this journal, on aim at prettyvikael via email at adeolucror [at] gmail.com and yeah, that's about it!

Ooh, this really makes me want to actually app in someone from another Martian-set book... Namely: The Season of Passage by Christopher Pike... x 3 ♥ I'm so cruel, yes, especially to the damned Mars boys here... ;) <333

Anyway, it's great to see so many-- open-ended canon chars here, given that I am playing a damned Witch from the Potter-verse... (lol!) Hopefully these two will run into each other, sometime... ; )

Oh my goodness, you may be even MORE cruel than moi! ; ) I mean, seriously: The Season of Passage is essentially a Vampire HORROR novel... Only, well, Mars is the REAL source of all Vampires on Earth, of course, since it IS Blood-red... (lmao)

Oh no, I don't think it's in e-book format unfortunately... D= <333 So sorry about that, but-- still... It is SO worth the wait for an Amazon shipment, assuming of course, that you don't want to go out to an actual book shop! x 3 And of course, the book will probably be even cheaper if you find it in a USED bookshop... I mean, seriously: I found TWO copies in almost-mint condition at a used bookshop once... (lol!)
