+1... alchemist?

Hey there, Laurant (player of Arietta, Edea, and Hanayo) bringing in another character because I am currently on kind of an alchemist kick at the moment, Shallistera (aka 'Shallie'/'Stera'/'Shallistera Argo'), from Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea.

Stera is one of two girls who are nicknamed 'Shallie', hence the game title, and she's a very polite and modest oujousama/princess-type character! As the daughter of the head of her village back home, she's been looking for a way to save her village's water supply from drying up, due to the Dusk consuming everything and causing droughts everywhere. She is also a novice alchemist, which in the atelier series is basically more or less combining ingredients to make a variety of things! A... large variety of things, even. Basically, despite being so... princess-like, she's very willing to help people out with their own problems if it means saving her village.

Canon-point wise she'll probably be coming from early in the game! I'm not entirely sure yet. I also need to redo some of her icons since I made these all like a year ago, but hopefully I will intro her soon!

Ahhh I started playing Atelier with the first Iris game? I have missed a few games in the series like Iris 2 and 3 and Mana Khemia 2... and need to get ahold of Escha & Logy, but I am glad to know someone knows of the series! And gosh, Totori- I have journals for all three Arland protags and for some of the Dusk protags too, and I've got Rorona sitting in the queue for Kyriakos right now ヽ(；▽；)ノ

Miss Helmold is my only current Atelier journal, but I'm not uninterested in playing others. I just haven't found the right place yet. Fans of the series seem few and far between here on Dreamwidth, though maybe I just don't know where to look? I've never even heard of Kyriakos, for instance.

We do seem pretty scattered about! It's the same for Ar Tonelico folks too... and gosh I play from a lot of canons that seem to have almost non-existent followings on dreamwidth, aha. I bought Ayesha recently when I went to preorder Shallie, and that prompted me to dig out my other Atelier games I had packed up, which...

Pretty much led to wanting to app all the alchemists everywhere, haha.

I'm a bit out of touch with it, but Ar Tonelico is another series I liked. I guess I just like Gust games in general or something. Oh, I should probably properly introduce myself. I go by Beryl on dreamwidth, and in addition to this tanuki, I also play Remilia Scarlet, a vampire from the same canon (Touhou Project) as well as best girl Nonon Jakuzure from Kill la Kill. I go by alchemypie on Plurk if you have one of those...and you might be the only person I've met on this game to both understand the name and recognize my icon.
