Ghost? Illusion? Future demon? THEORIES ABOUND. Let's just call her besties to one Mavis Vermillion, and a character I've been meaning to make forever...'
She's from the same world as Erza, but a slightly different canon - she's actually from Fairy Tail 0, the prequel. Meaning as far as she's concerned, there's no Fairy Tail at all. (Wait? Do Fairy's even have tails???? Really, that's exactly the sort of questions Mavis would ask...)
...Long story short, she's spent the last seven years living with only Mavis for company on Tenrou Island. It's only been a day or two since she approached main society, and she's quite freaked. :( All of you people are probably terrible murderers or some such, and how is she supposed to be expected to speak with strangers??????

W-well.... It's not all bad.............. As long as none of you touch Mavis!!!!!!! She swore seven years ago. That she would protect her friend! (Who she was quite horrible to. Until Mavis saved her. Or failed to save her. She could be a ghost. Not likely an I Luscios. Possibly she will grow into a villain. No. Body. Knows. )

It is a mystery that will never be solved. Also who'd want to touch a wraith? Icky stuff that explode into goo all over your nice clothes, takes weeks to get the smell out!
