The Bay Returns

Hey there all! So as you may have noticed, the memory event has ended. Any desire to get in on that event will need to be backdated from this point onward, as ICly a few things are happening:
    1. If your character removed any of the stars with a jar or other container and kept them in the water, they can keep them, but if they are dropped that's it. They're gone to your character forever.

    2. Your character probably wants to escape the Bay in Nova City as it is sinking as of midnight tonight. If your character doesn't escape, they will be pulled underwater. The Nova City Bay itself will explode into a million of those stars once it is completely submerged. Your character will experience a similar effect to what happens when you touch the city limits. However, they will not wake up in a hospital, just wash up on shore unless a character ICly takes them to a hospital while they are unconscious.

    3. The Bay is back in Genessia. This means that the big ol' water way and hole are gone and things are back to normal in Genessia and Nova City! Well. Sort of.

    4. There's a strange archway that looks like it's cut itself into the world right at the backside of the Bay. (The Bay might even be a couple of inches off from where it used to be if your character is the type to pick up on inane details, but that's not important.) Unfortunately, it seems like the lights that had been swirling around the barriers are continually cropping up and blocking the way through the archway. If your character tries to go into the archway, the aurora colors will swarm around them and basically push them back. However, if your character looks through at a safe distance, they will see an old wooden stair path that seems to lead downward, underneath the Bay. The path itself seems to be embedded in some kind of rocky cave pathway and there are bits of ores visible in the rock walls. Though living creatures can't pass through the barrier, if your character drops something or tosses something in, it will pass through the archway. Unfortunately, it also causes technology to malfunction, so video recording the path ahead won't work. Anyone with remote sensitivity to power levels/auras and spiritual levels/similar concepts will be able to feel an incredible power coming from the archway.

    5. So what is this archway-looking thing? Well, your characters have to unlock it to find out. Around the edge of the archway there are 5 slots that look like they would fit one of the characters' pendants perfectly. And they do, and your character is welcome to try putting theirs in or ganging up with 4 others and everyone filling up all the holes, but nothing well happen. Not yet, anyway. There are special pendants needed to open these doors and they are available in Genessia and the surrounding cities... but they might not be so easy to get. There won't be an explanation ICly about the new door so your character will be free to explore and be confused about it, whatever you want. On Sunday, April 19th there will be a new event announcement that will reveal the presence of the first pendant and how to get it. For each pendant, there will be a quest to complete directly related to the city that the task is in. There will be different kinds of quests for each pendant, so no one type of character will have an advantage for every quest! Each quest will last varying amounts of time depending on the nature of the quest. Each quest will only be announced at the time that it is released.

    6. Oh, and the newspaper is going to start getting sent out on Sundays again. Looks like the time anomalies had something to do with the Bay moving and the new gate...
The first quest will be announced IC and OOC at the same time on April 19th. Get ready, Nova City! You're up first!

Any questions? Respond to this post and they will be answered as soon as possible!
