A Master Ball is an instant capture, and doesn't require a fight at all. A level 1 Pidgey versus a level 99 Shuckle will result in an immediate capture if a Master Ball is thrown. No party Pokemon will level up, but the Pokemon added to your party (if there's room) will be at full health!
