How much can pokemon abilities affect things outside of pokemon? And would this apply to moves or even little deets on a pokemon's dex entry?

F'instance, let's take meganium. That would be enticing for Papyrus, because not only can its scent reduce aggression (good for Guardian peacekeeping), but its breath also revives dead plants! (dex entry, very useful for gardening).

On the move side, it learns aromatherapy, which clears status effects. Could this also work on, say, another character so afflicted?

Or, to use another example of a move, could someone use meganium's poison powder and harvest it for their own bioterrorist ends?
