Jacques may participate in the event, but he won't be affected. He'll probably finally be impressed and accept Bad!Weiss and I'll go from there. I'll be introing Harvey later, so as for Jaune...
He's already recently had some brushes with his worse qualities and just how far he could spiral down. His anger and resentment, mostly toward himself, is being pushed outward as he lashes out on people. His encounter with Battler that could have destroyed everything important to him if it hadn't been for Dave has left him more withdrawn and meek, but his struggles haven't been so much accepted and overcome as buried out of fear.
Good!Jaune will be all about protecting other people and making up for his past mistakes. He has a lot of guilt, but without caring about how he's perceived he'll be a lot more determined. Good!Jaune is a lot like Whole!Jaune, only salt-free because he's too busy trying to help everyone. He'll still feel negative emotions like sadness, but he'll be bottling them up or using them as motivation to put himself in harm's way because empathy. He'll probably be the dorkier of the two.
Bad!Jaune thinks his good self is boring. Bad!Jaune is selfish, manipulative and intelligent. It's not that Good!Jaune doesn't share his intelligence, but Good!Jaune will be focusing on Is This The Right Thing To Do while Bad!Jaune will be focusing on what's the best way to use my surroundings to potentially leave that jerk in the hospital? As a more exaggerated parallel of how he cheated into Beacon, if he wants something, he won't care if it's against the law or it puts other people at risk. He'll probably steal whatever weapons he thinks look relatively cool, among other plans I'll elaborate on below. He'll also be very snarky.
What I plan to do with this so far is:
Bad!Jaune isn't going to actively seek out random people or people he's neutral to in order to hurt. However, without his ability to feel empathy or remorse, his goal will be to injure anyone who has wronged him. Characters who have badmouthed or treated his friends badly could be possible targets if the you want them to be. Bad!Jaune doesn't feel any attachment to his friends or family, so any injustices they've experienced will be interpreted as attacks against himself to reflect his more selfish choices. When it comes to characters he has strong positive CR with, he's willing to protect them, but only because it makes him look good. Whole!Jaune has had some hurtful and emotional outbursts in the past, and he's fairly good at reading people's strengths and weaknesses (neutral). Without his empathy to keep him from using that as ammunition against other people, he'll probably verbally hit people where it hurts most-- especially if he gets something out of it. He'll also be prone to lying for no reason, because it's easier/he wants to/etc. He'll be attempting to murder Emerald, which won't go well for him. Considering her abilities, Emerald will probably be his final battle, so if anyone wants to run into him before that, we can plot something out.
Good!Jaune will be adamant about stopping his other half at any cost. What that entails is he's going to pull a Joan of Arc, only he probably won't go the entire martyr route and will just injure himself to the point where Bad!Jaune is unable to fight.
