That being said, if he were to take up residence in a place that is no longer being used, the only way he would get out of paying rent or for utilities would be to stay in it as is. As in not having repair work done or trying to get the electricity reactivated, ect.
The second he tries to do that, the owner would be contacted. They’d rent the space to him, so it wouldn’t be free. And 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, living room, kitchen would fall around the 7* mark for payment.
Everglade offers tax breaks for churches and such. A deal there could be struck up if he were to leave the creatures of the night (demons, werewolves, vampires, ect.) alone as well as not doing exorcisms and the like.
