The Tower
ENTER THE PUZZLE TOWER

As Papyrus was the rightfully 'lected Guardian, it's time I pay up with my player event. Behold!

Setup:
Papyrus, genius protector that he is, has been commissioned by the Royal Family to construct a Puzzle Tower to house their new, incredibly dangerous & psychotic disaster waiting to happen! In the Family's absence, the court jester fell under dark influences, prompting his immediate arrest and solitary confinement lest he wreak his madness on the world.

ANYWAY, The site's all built, the puzzles all installed, and now he just needs volunteers to test their workmanship. That means you!

Event Part 1
The first part will be a light-hearted romp, floor-by-ascending-floor, through Papyrus' deadly (not really) gauntlet of puzzles. There may also be japes. Maybe a malfunction; it's important to test these things! Solve or blunder your way through his ingenious contraptions. Make it to the end, and as a reward for securing Fayren's most dangerous clown, get a charm! Papyrus promises a fun time for all besides.

This event is for 1-3 players, one character per player, though I can handle more if there's enough interest.

Part 2...?
But maybe puzzles aren't enough for you. Maybe you have an unhealthy curiosity towards the deranged jester held in the top floor. Who got to him and made him the killer clown he is today? What secrets might be pried from his scrambled egg salad?

Maybe he'll tell you, but only if you indulge him in a deadly game. Whether through Papyrus' own incompetence, your character's dark desire, or the prisoner's own malevolent mischief, the magical inmate will go beyond his cell and force you sinners into the fight of your lives.

This second part is optional for those who'd like their characters to experience something edgier. Whether they win or lose (as well as how severe a loss is) is up to the players. The fight's nature will be a magical/spiritual one, meaning characters don't require any superpowers to participate. Just the will of their SOUL's. Papyrus, unless desired otherwise, will be blissfully unaware of the brawl in the cell block, arriving in a panic only after all's said and done. They'll also have to make a choice as to how the clown's handled. With violence, or pacification? Mercy, or...? Choose carefully; what he'll divulge depends on it.

Mods willing, I'll get to throw in some metagame plot-hooks in connection with who or whatever had its tendrils in the poor clown's brain.
