Just a couple of quick announcements, to help expedite things and clear up confusing situations.
1. I told some people previously that fighting Pokémon without catching them in order to grind levels was possible. I'm going to have to change my mind and say no to this, because it could very easily lead to me wasting hours rolling up encounters, which is tedious and time-consuming and I'm already falling behind as it stands. So no grinding! Use your Pokeballs for a quick level up!
2. Whatever you list as your starting party and inventory is what I assume you're hunting with. Double check to make sure it matches your party's status for the previous day. If you want to level up BEFORE you set out, you can indicate that in the notes. If you don't say when you're spending Pokeballs to level up, the assumption is that you're doing it at the end of the day.
3. If you evolve, trade, or level up a Pokemon off-screen, just let me know in your next search request so I can keep track on my handy spreadsheet to make sure you're getting the proper points.
4. If it gets to the point that I'm more than a week behind on a day's search requests, I won't be able to stop and ask people what they want to do each time something comes up that isn't covered in the instructions. I'll just run on auto-pilot and make assumptions. I'm sorry if this leads to any unwanted results. The search requests take hours to do (definitely a lot longer than I expected due to the event's popularity), and I only have so much free time to do them. So please be as clear as possible about what your character would do in certain situations (no duplicates/yes duplicates, risk KO to catch higher level Pokemon, etc.) to make things go more quickly for everyone involved and save me some sanity points.
5. I'm really glad people are having fun, and I get super delighted to see people mention their results in the Discord or on Plurk. That makes it all worthwhile! Thanks to Mags and Judge for helping me crunch more numbers behind the scenes! And thank you for your patience and support!
