1) Are there ways of training pokemon that don't involve battling? If so, does it involve a slightly cheesy but also invigorating montage of activities with "Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background?

2) For those of us going into the event with a pokemon already... We don't have to choose between the ones we catch in the event and the one we started with, do we? That would be the saddest thing. Like... the SADDEST THING!
