Well if Midboss is going to start training Ted a bit (I'll get back to your post tomorrow, honest), then that leaves a good opening for Ted to turn up and find him a little...out of sorts? Depends how far you want to take things, but either way he'll have had all that nice stuff sucked out so is likely to be rather brutal towards him. Again, totally up to you how far you want things to get.
