If she tries to order him around, he'll point out that he isn't under her command and that they are working together and not one for the other. But if it's a choice between ignoring what she tries to get him to do and someone getting hurt, he'll listen enough to deal with the situation then he'll point that out to her.

But he sees his own role as helping to coordinate, being transport and helping to safe guard their Tech to where they need to be to shut down the generator. He also plans to remove the object from the generator and to stay there while its powered back up to contain the blast if it happens to explode or anything.
