A Player-plot approaches

Hello, this is AL and I come to you to offer ~a player plot~.

Adachi here just opened a Subarchway in Attleton to Persona 4's TV World which made the silent town Inaba into a very bizarre scene of murder. People hanging from telephone poles and all that nice stuff. Well, guess what? He's going to attempt to continue his ways here as well by kidnapping people into the subarchway of his.

So there are two roles you can be in this plot.

Kidnapped

Be a damsel in distress, so to say. You are kidnapped by Adachi and left to the TV World with shadows and possibly the shadow of yourself. Of course, if you have the means to fight, you can; but if you have special powers it's more than likely the shadows will try and attack you. Especially given the time, your own shadow may very well kill you.

When the victim is in the world with Adachi, the place looks like Magatsu Inaba. When left alone, however, the world shapes into something that their mind provides. Like a crooked version of their home town or a place they'd rather be in. They're all filled with shadows of course. So it's basically a maze for the person in and the people coming to rescue them.

Your role would be at least figuring out what the subarchway looks like when people come looking for your character, but there's also the option of providing them a shadow to make that the "final boss".

It's very tiring to be in the tv world so time is off the essence. Let's hope you'll be rescued soon.

Rescue team

You can also become those who rescue the kidnapped. It is more than likely that Yukiko Amagi and Naoto Shirogane will catch on rather quickly, no matter how sneaky Adachi will try to be. So he'll try to do as much damage as he can before that.

The characters on the rescue team must fight shadows in the tv world to rescue the ones left there (one at a time though, if he manages to get away with even one) and bring them back out. It's very tiring to be in the tv world so time is off the essence.

Later you may also be in the league to kick Adachi's ass.


I haven't decided when this will happen quite yet. This is more for seeing if there's enough interest for this to happen. So please comment here if you're interested c:

I volunteer Lopez.

My suggestion: Go for the head. Lopez can survive as only just a head, so feel free to ditch him in the TV world with the possibility of bumping into some crazy Shadow of himself.

Also, is it possible for Lopez to get a Persona of his own through this crazy thing? I know thats a bit much, but I can't get my mind off of it. I'm fine either way.

Unless Adachi does something to stop Yukiko which I will be all for, for reasons. then yeah she would pick it up quickly.

Also mostly would enjoy getting Yukiko out of the way because I can't stop thinking about another character I would want kidnapped.

Well, since Yukiko's been here far longer than Naoto has, he might make it a priority to take care of Yukiko at least. Ready for another shot of your castle, princess?

I'm very interested, and I'd totally want to give up someone to be kidnapped but I... would definitely need to think of a good way to get any of them kidnapped. cuz I totally want to see Pixy stuck in the TV World.

Adachi does have a Persona, but yeah he's not the most powerful person still... what we're doing with Luke is to get them know one another and have him lure him to the place so if something like that is possible...

I'm definitely interested, because kidnapping plots are my jam. Konoka getting abducted marked the end of one of my favorite arcs in Negima.

On the other hand, if recent events in sequel series UQ Holder are of any indication, Konoka's fighting power might be stronger than suggested from where I took her in canon. Plus if Pidonus gets kidnapped Konoka is compelled to rescue her.

We will have to see how the slots fill, but your interest is noted o7 also I love Negima lots so I'm happy to get some sort of CR with Konoka

I have muses that would both be fun to be captured and part of the Rescue team. Airy would be fun to be captured because her powers are based in her imagination lol. Kahlan would go to help and be like -.- this is the strange boy who bid on me at that party lol.

Naoto will likely attempt to lead the rescue team, because, well, that's what she does.

If anyone wants to talk coordination for that sort of thing, let me know!

Unless Adachi would try to specifically get Naoto out of the way, and then... tiny detective be screwed.

Well, since Yukiko's been here longer, Adachi will make his priority to have her out of business but if he feels too threatened with Naoto as well, he might try her too... but a Persona user on the rescue side might be a good idea too. Hmmhmm.

Izanami has been ideally pondering the thought of letting Shadows out the TV to go rampant for a while, but sure if you want to play your little games she will sit and eat popcorn. You amuse her so much.

Both Blake and Annie would produce some interesting shadow selves. (Blake:Why isn't it disappearing?! Why is it talking?!)

But if you need either in the role of rescuer, that's in Blake's nature even if she is in a dark place at the moment. Annie does on occasion do a good deed on a whim.

Both would be able to handle the shadows and fend for themselves in there for a good bit too. I'm game for whatever works.

I'm not all that knowledgable about Persona, but I'm interested in maybe making a few muses get kidnapped. I'm not sure who yet, but I thought it would be interesting to maybe throw Mikasa or Rikku in.

Well, I already volunteered Luke for this on plurk.

I've put a lot of thought into this, I'm actually willing to let Luke not survive the event, if you need a first victim. What's most important though is that he can't know who kidnapped him and can't have any idea, not even unconsciously. There are too many mind-readers who will try to figure out what's happened. They'll figure out it was Adachi straightaway if they can pluck the thoughts from his head.

As previously stated though, you will have a *very* angry Koishi and Satsuki (and probably Mikasa, at least) on Adachi's hide when they figure out it was Adachi...

Latest, but I would be fine with using an NPC for the first victim, but we can discuss this before getting to things! We can also discuss a way for him to kidnap Luke without Luke knowing who it was.

I've mentioned in plurk my interest in having Koishi be there to hunt Adachi down for hurting the smol hooman. If it's not too late to (officially) join the rescue team I absolutely want in.
